Length of Appointments
Your first appointment will take approximately 90 minutes and follow-up appointments take about one hour. Patients are encouraged to schedule their treatments 2-3 weeks (or longer) in advance for optimal availability.  

Fees and Payment
Fees are $80 for the first visit and $60 for follow-ups. For those who do not have insurance coverage and have lower incomes, we offer sliding fees based on annual household income. If you wish to request reduced rates based on your income you will be required to complete a brief form.

Cash or personal check are our preferred forms of payment. However, a major credit card can be accepted if needed.

Insurance Coverage
Many insurance companies are now covering acupuncture. I am a participating provider for Excellus (Blue Choice and Blue Cross/Blue Shield), MVP HealthCare, and Aetna. Please note that many, but not all of their plans cover acupuncture. To find out if your plan covers acupuncture simply call the member services number on your insurance card. If you prefer, we will be happy to check your benefits for you.

Cancellation Policy
To avoid being charged for your missed appointment, kindly give at least 24 hours notice.
